Seong H. Kim, MD, PhD, Korea University, Ansan, Republic of Korea

Dr. Seong H. Kim is a Cardiologist and Professor at Korea University, School of Medicine, Seoul, Korea. He also serves as Director of Echocardiographic Imaging at the Department of Cardiology, Korea University Ansan Hospital. Dr. Kim received his medical degree and PhD from Korea University. For his clinical and research fellowships in the field of cardiology, he completed his training at the Korea University Anam Hospital, Seoul Korea and the Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital, Anyang, Korea. He also gained research experience at the Stanford University Hospital, Stanford, USA. Dr. Kim is recognized for his expertise in both clinical practice and research in the areas of echocardiography, obesity, cardiometabolic disorders, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and more. Currently, he has participated in Ansan cohort project with grant support and has been serving as an active committee member of KSC, KSE, KSCS, and KoVAS.
